AIIMS Exam 2020
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) exam is an entrance test for admission to its undergraduate medical degree course. It is intended to fill the 1205 seats offered by the 15 AIIMS in the country. Candidates are tested on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
AIIMS Exam 2020 Dates
AIIMS 2020 will be conducted on May 30 and 31 2020. It will be conducted online and will comprise 150 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam will be 210 minutes.
AIIMS Exam 2020 Eligibility
- Candidates must be of Indian origin. If not residing in India, they should belong to the Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) category. They should also be registered under Section 7A of the Indian Citizenship Act 1955. If they belong to the foreign nationals’ category, they need to be nominated by the Government of India.
- Class 12 pass or equivalent examination of 10+2 recognized by AIIMS Delhi.
- Should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 10+2.
- Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should have a minimum of 60% marks aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OPH categories should have a minimum of 50% marks.
- Candidates born on or after January 2, 2002, are not eligible.
Application form
The application process starts in November 2019 and will end in mid-March 2020. Registration is a two-stage process consisting of Basic Registration and Final Registration. In the first stage, candidates hoping to appear in any of the entrance exams will be able to register with their basic details around a year in advance. The registration is free in this stage. In the second stage, candidates can fill in their remaining details. They will then be eligible to receive admit cards for that exam subject.

OBC (Both Creamy & Non – Creamy layer): Rs.1500
Scheduled Caste: Rs.1200
Scheduled Tribe: Rs.1200
PwD: Exempted
