NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to various management programs in business schools across India. It will be conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for NMAT candidates depends on the eligibility for the selected MBA/PGDM program. It typically involves having a minimum of 50% marks in the bachelor’s result. There is no age limit.
Syllabus
There is no prescribed syllabus for the NMAT exam. However, candidates should prepare to be tested on language skills, quantitative skills, and logical reasoning.
Exam pattern
The 2-hour NMAT exam is multiple choice questions-based. Before the exam, candidates will need to agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement. There will also be a 10-minute tutorial and a 3-minute period for section selection and sequencing.
Candidates need to answer the questions of each section within the allotted section time. There is no carryover of remaining time from one section to another.
Application form
- Candidates must register for application on the website at https://www.nmat.org.in/test-takers/register-and-schedule/index.htmlThey must pay for the NMAT exam before scheduling a test date and location.
- Candidates must visit the respective university/college/school website for details of admission procedure. Respective forms must be submitted separately.
Candidates are allowed to take the NMAT exam a maximum of three times in the year’s testing period. This includes the first attempt and two retake attempts. No-shows are considered attempts.
