What’s Samsung Star Scholarship 2019-20?
Samsung India invites applications such as Samsung Star Scholarship Programme 2019-20 from students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNVs) currently pursuing a full-term B. Tech/Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) course within an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in India. This scholarship aims to award the meritorious students pursuing specialized classes in the top institutions. Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of up to INR two lakh for costs related to tuition, examination, hostel and mess, for one academic year.

To qualify, an applicant must:
Be registered in B.Tech/B.Tech+M.Tech double degree programme in IITs and NITs listed by Samsung
Should Have finished his class 12 from some of those Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNVs)
maintain good standing with the institute to Get a Samsung Star Scholar support.

What are the benefits?
The selected students will receive a scholarship up to a max of INR 2,00,000 per year towards expenses associated with tuition fees, hostel and mess charges.
How do you apply?

Completed application form, with a self-attested picture
Self-certified Class 10 and 12 CBSE marks statement
Self-certified duplicate of JEE (Main) standing certificate
Self-certified duplicate of final admission letter from the Institute
Original copy for admission/first semester/annual fee receipt
Self-certified copy of main active bank account passbook
Self-certified copy of address proof- Aadhaar Card/Aadhaar Enrolment ID/ Electoral Card/ Passport (mandatory)
Self-certified clear copy of PAN Card (compulsory )

What are the choice criteria?
First-year student candidate(s) will be chosen on the basis of the All India Rank (AIR) at the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)
The 2nd Year Scholarship will be determined based on the pupils’ overall academic performance.
Nominees who stay in the Top 50% of the course will continue to get the scholarship to the following calendar year.

Terms and Conditions
Samsung may employ any third party to perform verification of the information provided and other administrative tasks associated with the programme.
Meeting the minimum program requirements and scholarship criteria doesn’t guarantee the scholarship.
The student recipient will forfeit the scholarship amount, during the scholarship period, if he/she fails any standards mentioned in the rulebook. Degree program and four (4) years for Dual Degree (B.Tech. courses.
