What is the COMEDK UGET Exam 2020?
Every year, the COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) conducts an online test called UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) for admission to B.E/B. Tech/B. Arch courses in more than twenty thousand seats available in colleges across Karnataka.
Exam Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the COMEDK Exam 2020, the candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the exam.
For B.Tech aspirants,
- The applicants should be either appearing or have already qualified the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks in PCM and English.
- Must have passed each exam individually
- Candidates with only a diploma won’t be eligible to sit for the exam
For B.Arch aspirants,
- The applicants should have already qualified the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks in PCM and English
- Must have passed each exam individually
Exam Pattern
- Exam Medium: Only English
- Marks allotment: One mark for each correct answer
- There is no negative marking
- However, in the event of a tie in the test score the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adopted. Also, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties.
- Maximum marks: 180

COMEDK UGET Exam Process
Step 1 Fill the application form
- Go to the official COMEDK website, that is comedk.org
- Register yourself by clicking on the registration link which will be available soon
- Enter all the required details mentioned therein along with a valid mobile number and email address
- After you have registered yourself, you will receive a unique user id and password on the mobile number and email address that was entered
- Login with your unique id and password to complete the application process
- Enter all the required details such as academic, personal and preferred test centres
- Upload a recent coloured photograph (30 mm X 45 mm) in a JPEG format and of size less than 80 kb.
- Upload your father or guardian’s signature (35 mm X 80 mm) along with the unique id proof in a JPEG format and of size less than 80 kb
- Make payment by clicking on payment gateway mode
- Preview your COMEDK application before clicking on the submit button to recheck and ensure that there are no errors
- Click submit after reviewing your application
