All About JEE Advanced Exam 2020 – Exam Date, Registration, Syllabus

Expected Cutoff for JEE Advanced 2020

 

JEE Advanced exam 2020 is a national-level academic exam which is held every year under the guidance of JAB (Joint Admission Board). This time, it will be held on 17th May 2020. JEE Advanced is the only prerequisite for admissions in IITs (Indian Institute of Technology).

 

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced Exam 2020

  • Those who ranked among top candidates of JEE Paper 1(Mains), broken down per category
  • Candidates should not be more than 25 years of age. However, there is a five-year relaxation for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
  • A candidate can appear for the examination not more than two times in two consecutive years
  • Candidates should have cleared their 10+2 or equivalent in the year previous to the examination
  • Candidate should not have been admitted in IIT earlier

 

JEE Advanced Registration

After checking their eligibility for the JEE Advanced exam 2020, the candidates need to get themselves registered for the exam. The students now have to go to the official JEE Advanced Website in order to do so. The registration for the exam involves four steps:

  • Entering all required details
  • Choosing a test city of preference
  • Uploading the required documents
  • Payment of registration fees by one of the accepted payment methods

 

JEE Advanced Exam 2020 Admit Card

Only those students who registered for JEE Advanced 2020 in time will get the admit card. The applicants can look for their admit cards online on the official website. It will not be mailed to the applicant. The JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card will contain the following details of the student:

  • Name
  • Roll number for JEE (Advanced) 2020
  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Date of Birth
  • Address for correspondence
  • Category.
  • Name and address of the examination centre allotted to the candidate.

The admit card which has now been downloaded is only a temporary admit card. The original admit card will be given to the candidate at the test centre. JEE Advanced 2020

The JEE Advanced 2020 results will be declared on 8th June 2020.
