Due to the sudden panic and chaos created by the Coronavirus CBSE has postponed board exams of class 10 and 12. The situation got worse and now the Ministry of Human Resource Development asked to call off every other exam in the country to be rescheduled. 

It was in the winters of 2019 that a new type prototype of a newly emerged virus came into existence. This virus was named as COVID- 19 and it emerges from the Wuhan region of mainland China. The virus quickly became a widespread pandemic and everyday activity of countries came into a stagnant position.

As soon as the coronavirus made its way into the Indian subcontinent, the Government of India fastened their operation and the people were asked to stay inside of their houses limiting the number of Coronavirus patients in the country. 

 

Here are the 10 highlights of exams being postponed in India.

  1. CBSE, one of the biggest school boards in the world has postponed the class 10 board exams and class 12 board exams till march. Due to the coronavirus, the board exams will be rescheduled for other dates.
  2. The Central Board of Secondary Education has advised to postponing all the other activities of schools and institutions as well.
  3. Due to the sudden rise in the number of infected people in India the JEE mains were postponed until March. More information can be found on JEE mains website nta.ac.in.
  4. The NTA (National Testing Agency) stated that the new dates for JEE Main will be announced on  31st March 2020.
  5. According to the news, the cancelled examination of class 12th students will be rescheduled to be held from March 31, 2020, to April 14, 2020. Even though there has not been any special report from the NTA several news channels and former officials stated that JEE Mains exam will be scheduled to April 5-11, 2020.
  6. CBSE has taken special measures to ensure that the board examination and JEE main don’t clash with each other.
  7. It is important to know that only science students are eligible for JEE mains 2020. CBSE board has taken special measures so that the papers of science stream students do not clash with the JEE Main.
  8. It is a golden opportunity for both 10th,12th school students and JEE mains aspirants as they get more time to revise their chapters and prepare themselves better during the coronavirus outbreak.
  9. Staying inside will help students to study the left out chapter and clear the remaining doubts because internet services will flow normally during the whole outbreak.
  10. Aspirants are advised to register themselves for JEE mains as the application for registration has already started and used the given time accordingly.
