Three different locations across campus have solar rooftop panels – ISC Rooftop, B School Rooftop and Utility 2 Rooftop. This has stabilized unit generation substantially. Who says only humans can bask in the sun? Buildings can, too!

 3. Go Bird Watching With Your Friends

It isn’t just students who are drawn to our campus from all over India – countless beautiful birds also migrate each year to the wetlands that are part of the University campus. The campus, given its green cover, is also home of a wide variety of fauna – so go bird watching with your friends on-campus – it’s a great way to appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna that exists in the world!

If you are intrigued by methods to go green, then you’re in luck. SNU has sewage treatment plants on campus, following the latest technology. Treated through MBR technology, sewage water is also passed through UV reactors before it is stored in a treated water tank. One of these modular plants is treating water from the academic and hostel block, and one is treating water from campus housing.
