LPUNEST Exam 2020
LPUNEST conducted by Lovely Professional University (LPU). LPU is a private university located in the Jalandhar, Punjab. This exam is a university level entrance exam for total 14 disciplines in the field of Engineering. LPUNEST is held every year across the country and is attempted by more than 3 lakhs aspirants. The entrance test is held twice in a year in the months of January and April.

LPUNEST Exam 2020 Pattern
The questions will be asked in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) with no negative marking. The entire duration of the exam will be 150 hours.

Eligibility Criteria for LPUNEST Exam 2020
Only candidates of Indian nationality are eligible for the LPU NEST 2020 examination. Students who have passed intermediate level exam can apply for the undergraduate courses and the students with a graduate degree can only apply for post graduate courses.
Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech Program
- Students who scored 60% aggregate marks in intermediate level (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent subject will qualify for LPU NEST.
- A candidate with Indian Nationality can only apply.
- Chemistry, English Physics & Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology subjects are considered for admission in B.Tech. courses (Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering) and integrated B.Tech – M.Tech. (Biotechnology)
- Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English are the considered subjects for taking admission in the B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering, CHE – Petroleum)
- Students who have scored 60% marks in intermediate level and also scored 74 marks in JEE MAINS are eligible to get the direct admission in the engineering course.
- A candidate who has scored 90% marks in the 12th standard will get direct admission in the LPU for engineering courses without appearing in LPUNEST or JEE Mains
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech Programme
- Candidate qualified with 60% aggregate marks in BE or B.Tech in the field of the relevant branch or equivalent which is subject to qualifying LPUNEST or GATE 2020 Exam
